My thoughts:

To whom it may concern:
Over the past several years I have spent a great deal of
time praying and meditating concerning my earthly purpose and how I can best
spend my god given time, treasure and talent. Well, I believe that I have found
at least one of my earthly purposes and I would like to share it with you.
Throughout my lifetime I have had many concerns about many issues, but
the issue that stays forefront on my thoughts is that of abortion. I have
recently (past couple of years) been more and more engaged in thought/prayer
concerning how we could end the madness of legal abortions in our society. My
prayer and meditation (inspiration) led me to the thought that perhaps it is not
that we need to fight laws concerning abortion or people that perform abortion.
My inspiration led me to believe that the way that abortion could be ended is by
changing the way that our society thinks about the idea of when life starts. I
believe that the majority of people probably believe as I do and want to end
abortion but just don't know where to start.
I believe that it is our primitive culture that has been handed down
from generation to generation that tells us that life begins when the baby is
born. Why should anyone think differently? Our people could never in the past
see how the baby was developing in the mother's womb until the recent
development of ultrasound. We have never documented a Person's existence until
after the baby is born; we call this documentation the Birth Date or "Date of
Birth". We also, celebrate the Birth Date on a yearly basis and we judge our
earthly age relative to this date. Our greatest Holiday, that our society
celebrates, is that of Jesus' Birthday and we do not celebrate at all the
conception of Jesus.
My inspiration led me to the thought that if we want to end abortion,
then we should not further proliferate of the "Birth Date". We should find ways
to accurately measure (or estimate), document, and celebrate a Person's "Date of
Life" or conception. I have, therefore, created an organization called Date of
Life Foundation (DOLF) and created the website
www.dateoflife.com
My vision is as follows:
1. A small group of people begin
to recognize their conception dates by estimating, documenting and celebrating
their "Date of Life" on a yearly basis.
2.. This number of people will
grow and at the same time we will find better ways to estimate a person's Date
Of Life.
3.. People will like having
another date to celebrate (we all love to celebrate) and companies such as
Hallmark will begin to push greeting cards ect. in order to make a profit.
4.. The Date of Life Foundation
will fund "Date of Life" databases for organizations such as Churches,
Hospitals, Ect.
5.. The majority of people will
document and celebrate their conception dates.
6.. People will understand and
recognize that life begins at conception.
7.. Abortion will be voted out of
existence.
